Preparation

• Shave the area 24 hours before your appointment (no waxing, plucking, or epilating for 4 weeks prior — we need the follicle intact).

• Arrive with clean skin — no lotions, deodorant, or makeup on the area being treated.

Downtime

• Mild redness, swelling, or sensitivity in the treated area is common and usually settles within 24–48 hours.

• Some hairs may shed over the following 1–2 weeks — this is a normal part of the process.

• Skin may feel warm or tingly immediately after treatment, similar to light sunburn.

Aftercare

• Keep the area cool and calm — avoid hot showers, saunas, or exercise that makes you sweat for 24–48 hours.

• Moisturise with a gentle, soothing product recommended by your therapist.

• Always wear SPF if the treated area is exposed — skin will be more sensitive to the sun.

• Don’t wax, pluck, or epilate between sessions; shaving only is recommended.

• Avoid active skincare and harsh products on the treated area for 5–7 days.

• No picking, scratching, or exfoliating until the skin feels fully settled.
